NSCAA All-American, IHSSCA Illinois Player of the Year, and University of Notre Dame commit, Vince Cicciarelli, has been selected to the roster for the upcoming U.S. Soccer Under-18 Men’s National Team training camp being held in Phoenix, Arizona from Saturday, February 12 to Sunday, February 20.
Vince will be one of 36 players from around the country seeking a spot on the U.S. National Team’s 20-man competition roster.
There are currently no players from the state of Illinois listed in the U-18 Men’s National Team Player Pool.

Soon to be senior forward Vince Cicciarelli has verbally committed to play soccer at the University of Notre Dame.
Cicciarelli helped Peoria Notre Dame to a state runner-up finish in 2009 with 27 goals, 20 assists, and an NSCAA All-Midwest selection. He was also named the 2009 Peoria Journal Star Player of the Year.
Cicciarelli, who plays club for St. Louis Scott Gallagher Metro Academy, will join fellow class of 2011 recruits Nick Besler (Overland Park, Kansas), Max Lachowecki (Evansville, Indiana), and Brendan Lesch (Westport, Connecticut) in South Bend.
UND’s 2009 season ended in the second round of the NCAA Championship with an 11-8-4 overall record.
