PND Falls to National Power St. Louis Chaminade

One day after knocking off #7 ranked Christian Brothers College, Peoria Notre Dame fell 3-0 to national power Chaminade College Prep on Saturday afternoon in St. Louis.

PND surrendered two goals off set pieces, one off a corner in the first half and then a free kick from just outside the box in the second half. Chaminade capped the scoring late in the match with a low shot to the far post by freshman Tommy Barlow. Chaminade finished with a slight 5 to 4 advantage in shots on goal.

PND’s best scoring chance came in the first half when senior forward Vince Cicciarelli blasted a shot off the near post.
